International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls is observed on which date?
Many times when we discuss we talk about national days as well as international days. Also when you read newspapers, when you read in other magazines, or when you watch the news on TV. There we get things about these days. For example
If it is an international day.. Why is the date announced that way?
What happens on that date is very very important in terms of examination.
Significance of November 25:
Such things should be fully understood. What is one of the most important national and international days we have – November 25. What does it mean?
When is that? November 25. We already know. Not only in our country but also in every country in the world, violence against women and girls is increasing exponentially. But the reports of the violence means that even though some people come forward and file a complaint, there are many who are afraid to file a complaint.
So the silence there is painful because there is a fear that there will be harm to that girl or that woman or that family member. There should be government laws, there should be government activities, there should be actions of the authorities to remove that fear. Who is it that has played a particularly wonderful role in this?
NGOs.
Healthcare institutions should be involved in this. Also, there is a need for every person to be fully aware of this and act in such a way as to make others aware.
Also see International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls on 25th November every year. We celebrate that.
But in relation to this, what is the nature of this violence... it is necessary to consider it as a violation of human rights. If not, what does it mean – those who feel pain within themselves are working hard to prevent these things from coming out. So that silence should be broken there. Only if that is done, if the person or persons who committed these acts of violence, injustices and evils are punished, there is a possibility of change in the society after a few years.
If there is silence, then we will see cases where they will take that silence and act more evil again.
December 20, 1993:
Here on December 20, 1993, a declaration was made at the United Nations General Assembly to welcome it. So what does the decision mean then?
Any violence against women and girls should be prevented.
February 7, 2020:
Also, as per the decision taken on February 7, 2020, a decision has been taken to celebrate it on November 20 every year since then. Also remember this is not the work of an individual, an organization, or the police.
Also, if the government, voluntary organizations and people all work together, then whatever violence is happening to women and girls, we can reduce it. For that, all people need to join. Before that, regarding this.. This awareness needs to be inculcated in every individual.

అది ఎప్పుడు అంటే? నవంబర్ 25. మనకు ఆల్రెడీ తెలుసు. ఇక్కడ మన దేశంలోనే కాదు ప్రపంచంలో ఉన్న ప్రతి దేశంలో కూడా మహిళల పైన, బాలికల పైన హింస అనేది విపరీతంగా పెరిగిపోతుంది. అయితే ఆ హింసకు సంబంధించిన రిపోర్టులు అంటే కొంతమంది బయటకు వచ్చి కంప్లైంట్ ఇచ్చినప్పటికీ.. కంప్లైంట్ ఇవ్వడానికి భయపడేవారు చాలామంది ఉన్నారు
కాబట్టి అక్కడ ఆ నిశ్శబ్దం అనేది చేదించాలి ఎందుకు అక్కడ ఆ బాలికకు గాని ఆ మహిళకు గానీ ఆ కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు గానీ హాని జరుగుతుంది ఏమో అని ఒక భయం. ఆ భయాన్ని పోగొట్టే విధంగా ప్రభుత్వ చట్టాలు ఉండాలి, ప్రభుత్వ కార్యకలాపాలు ఉండాలి, అధికారుల చర్యలు ఉండాలి. దీనిలో ముఖ్యంగా అద్భుత పాత్ర పోషించ వలసింది ఎవరు అంటే?

స్వస్థత సంస్థలలు దీంట్లో పాలుపంచుకోవాలి. అలాగే ప్రతి వ్యక్తి కూడా దీనికి సంబంధించిన అవగాహన పూర్తిగా ఉంచుకుని, మిగతా వారికి కూడా అవగాహన కల్పించే విధంగా నడుచుకోవాల్సిన అవసరం ఎంతైనా ఉంది.
అలాగే చూడండి ఈ దినోత్సవం అనేది ప్రతి సంవత్సరం నవంబర్ 25వ తేదీన international Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women and Girls. అనే దాన్ని మనం జరుపుకుంటాం.
అయితే దీనికి సంబంధించి ఈ హింస అనేది ఏ విధంగా ఉందో.. అది మానవ హక్కుల ఉల్లంఘనగా భావించవలసిన అవసరం ఎంతైనా ఉంది. కాకపోతే చాలా వరకు ఏమిటి అంటే – ఈ విషయాలు బయటకు రాకుండా వారికి వారే తమలో తామే బాధను అనుచుకునే వారు అక్కడ కృంగి కృషించి పోతున్నారు. కాబట్టి అక్కడ ఆ నిశ్శబ్దాన్ని చేదించాలి. అలా చేయిస్తేనే ఎవరైతే ఈ హింసక పాల్పడ్డారో, ఈ అన్యాయాలకు పాల్పడ్డారో, దుర్మార్గాలకు పాల్పడ్డారో అటువంటి వ్యక్తిని లేదా వ్యక్తులను శిక్షిస్తే సమాజంలో కొన్ని సంవత్సరాల తర్వాత మార్పు వచ్చే అవకాశం ఉంది.
అలా నిశ్శబ్దంగా ఉంటే ఆ నిశ్శబ్దాన్ని అలుసుగా తీసుకుని మళ్లీ మరింత దుర్మార్గంగా వ్యవహరించే సందర్భాలు అనేవి అక్కడ మనకు కనిపిస్తాయి.
డిసెంబర్ 20, 1993:
ఇక్కడ డిసెంబర్ 20, 1993న ఐక్యరాజ్యసమితి జనరల్ అసెంబ్లీలో ఒక డిక్లరేషన్ అనేది అక్కడ స్వాగతించడం అనేది జరిగింది. కాబట్టి అప్పుడు తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయం ప్రకారం ఏమిటి అంటే?
మహిళల పైన బాలికల పైన జరుగుతున్న హింస ఏదైతే ఉందో.. దానిని నిరోధించాలి.

అలాగే ఫిబ్రవరి 7, 2020 ఆ తేదీన తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయం ప్రకారం గా అప్పటినుంచి ప్రతి సంవత్సరం నవంబర్ 20వ తేదీన ఈ విధంగా జరుపుకోవాలని ఒక నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవడం అనేది జరిగింది. అలాగే జ్ఞాపకం పెట్టుకోండి ఇది ఏ వ్యక్తి వలనో, ఒక సంస్థ వలనో, లేదా పోలీసుల వలనో జరిగే పని కాదు.
అలాగే ప్రభుత్వము మరియు స్వచ్ఛంద సంస్థలు, ప్రజలు అందరూ కూడా కలిసికట్టుగా పనిచేస్తే అప్పుడు మహిళల పైన గాని, బాలికల పైన గాని టీ జరిగే హింస ఏదైతే ఉందో.. దానిని మనం తగ్గించే అవకాశం ఉంది. దానికోసం ప్రజలు అందరూ కూడా పాటు పడవలసిన అవసరం ఉంది. దానికంటే ముందుగా దీనికి సంబంధించి.. ఈ అవగాహన అనేది ప్రతి ఒక్క వ్యక్తిలో కల్పించవలసిన అవసరం ఉంది.
